Pssh. That's not a problem. It's just a bluetooth connection. Get your head in 2024, man.

Was thinking, did you checked your plugs? Where they full of gas? Maybe that's why it backfires and the nothing. It could be that is getting a false reading from the ECT or MAF (if you are not using SD)maybe is a faulty relay that is not...

Correct. It’s almost acting like the ECM is communicating with only half of the sensors. Physical timing is correct, fuel pressure is good, have spark in all 4, and compression is good. It’ll backfire a couple times if I let it sit for a few...

So, you have the 3 basics? Compression, fuel and spark?

Drove to the gas station from my house in the dsm with absolutely zero issues aside from one small one. It’s about 10-15 minutes and I spent the whole trip getting it up to roughly 4000RPM and letting it engine brake down to idle then doing it...

Fast. Cheap. Reliable. You can't have all three and the middle one is locked in by your own admission.People without the money to pay to do things right from the start and then try to make twice the power the engine was originaly released with...

so, i few days went by and i got my friends to take out the engine.also, it was a 6 boltso, you may be asking "why didnt you rebuild your 6 bolt instead of that fb 7 bolt?"well, first reason is that the numbers on that engine didn't...

so after that I started to think what i wanted to do. i was broke as hell (still am) so a 800$ imported engine was way out of my budget. so i was scrolling market place as one does and found an 100$ block. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE, but alas...

You’ll be in a better position than where you were!Again, assuming it is the correct plate, yes.As you had it in the original post, there was no connection between the ring gear and the engine. So the starter would never actually turn...

For the exposed part of the trans you need this cover. https://stmtuned.com/products/mitsubishi-flywheel-housing-cover-7-bolt-dsm

      Yes.
    • victorgalant
Wiseman speaks the truth then, rtv on the 7bolt housing. I wonder why the sudden change.. I don't know of any chronic leak problem back there.
    • victorgalant
7 bolt rear main seal gasket is originally RTV, there is no paper gasket from factory. That's only for 6 bolt.Edit : my bad, Brian has already mentioned it above.
    • victorgalant
Thanks brother I'll measure it with my dial gage and see what I get.
    • victorgalant
If i'm not mistaken the measurement should be 2.4016-2.4024
