Again, I disagree with you on this Jason. I also laughed at the videos (Wanted to be fair, so I did watch them). Talking about building harnesses is one thing, but repairing or breaking into/adding to current systems is another. Complete strands...

So here is my experience. I have been doing 6v-12v DC/AC wiring and troubleshooting since I was 16 and now 39. I have worked on and seen every type of wiring "repair" you could probably imagine, including tar. Yes, melted tar. From MY experience...

Heck yeah, me too! Getting worried about time line though lol.

Seems like you ran the 12v for the coils to acc power in the fuse box, which drops off during cranking. Ignition power does not drop off during cranking. I would however recommend finding the actual reason the original wire is not getting power...

Small update as I am still messing with wiring to get it perfect, but mocked up the hot parts kit to start getting everything dialed in. Took some tweaks and going to take lots of custom oil/water lines, but it’s kinda pretty hahaha.*For...

Solid yellow is the oil pressure light and yellow/red is the dash gauge, so you have it wired correct and it looks like they are going to the correct part. They do not run through the ECU at all however, only to the dash cluster, but there are...

The hangar doesn't regulate pressure. It's simple fittings in and out. Elaborate please or make a post.

Then what happens to the peanut butter???

The answer to most of your questions is actually personal preference. How do YOU want the car to handle.. how do YOU plan to use the vehicle.. how often will YOU drive the vehicle.. etc. Each material has its own advantages and disadvantages...

What? I can’t tune with that sensor and the narrowband glow shift gauge I have? Been doing it all wrong I guess.
    • Dusty Landrum
Yeah the sensor on the firewall that taps into the FPR that gives the dash boost gauge its reading lol?
    • Dusty Landrum
That is actually your oem boost controller. The boost gauge is on the firewall. Here is what everything is.https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/taboo-speed-shop-vacuum-diagram-and-removal-for-1g-and-2g.198327/...

It is the dss aluminum driveshaft. I got lucky and snagged a gently used one instead of having to wait the month+ wait from dss on having one made. It is freaking massive too lol.

I'll skip to the conclusion and tell you what they'll tell you: if you want to keep stock gears and have some longevity, dial back your power goal to 450 hp max and never touch that 600 level. If not, it's a PAR or PPG gear set, which will total...

Trust me, they will explain all the billet parts and stuff to you. Everything is usually broken down into "stages" depending on your needs and wallet. Boostin Performance and Magnus are two examples of parts suppliers that work directly with them...
