A SAC (SbAgCu) solder is a good choice without breaking the bank, which is tin/silver/copper. It's popular due to not containing lead, and it still makes a strong join. Your higher end stuff is silver alloy (~5% Ag) and the really high silver...

Hey All,So the car is currently with Chris at Red Rocket Racing in Syracuse Indiana for an 8.50 cage, chute mount, and also having Chris do up a more tubular upper core/radiator support in an attempt to open up some more room in the engine bay...

Update time. Still waiting on the block to come back from the machine shop. Dropped it off in January. Getting frustrated. Wanted to have the motor in the car in April to feel comfortable with my time line of my first event being June 22-23. Been...

Funny, I owned a 1961 Impala a couple decades ago. Didn't look anything like this, and it wasn't an SS. But I sure do hope to own another bubble top one day. I love those roof lines.

After a long hiatus, these brackets are back in stock. We have greatly improved the finish, chamfering, and anodizing. This is the nicest batch we’ve done to date. Get ‘em while they’re hot! These brackets allow you to swap 3000gt brakes onto...

I don't think it's a code that will be around too long. Found it in another thread. They used to allow you to use "dsmtuners" in the "how did you hear about us" field, don't think that works anymore though.

RockAuto will have them... use "262392087237257235" in the "how did you hear about us" field for a 5% discount.

It's tough to decipher what you're saying in parts of your question. My question is, how is it the auto parts store doesn't know what water pump you need? They won't be able to diagnose your problem, but they should be able to get you the correct...

Time for an update I guess. Not much happened over the winter, we spent most of the time working on Brian's Miata to get it better-prepped for this season. I got the transmission back at the end of December and got that reinstalled, then...

Looks awesome! What material did you go with for the 3D printed parts? I've been making functional parts from CF PETG and I see that's outside the engine bay but I'd still be worried about warpage where it touches the heat exchanger. Sooooo...

That's bad ass. I knew someone would eventually get to doing this.If someone would make some molded stick-on cover pieces to go over the window trim, that would be ideal, since I don't see anyone making full on replacements for them.

I spent wayyyy too much time trying to replicate the complete geometry of the 1G Talon / Laser cover. I know it’s not perfect (nominal thickness in the center section is pretty thin) but it’s a decent overall representation. And, certainly, I’m...
