13 years ago. Self re built synchro trans with a twin disc clutch. Stock tcase, hd driveshaft and stock 4 bolt rear end.Another thing tho is your on an SS plate correct? I’d imagine with a new master/slave and properly functioning pedal...
When it’s in its proper adjustment range it doesn’t grind, lately I just haven’t been able to get it to fully release no matter the adjustment, it still rolls a little at 7 grand on a clutch drag test. I did however notice a tiny bit of fluid the...
for this specific harness you would use the rear lower 7/16 unf mounting locations. 1 from the OEM latch receiver and the other from the lower belt mounting. due to the design these can be places below the normal harness angles as 3 points can be...
I prefer to pull both pieces as a unit and separate them on the ground or a work bench.Last time I used a hard dead blow hammer and it separated instantly after a good smack. There should be a clip in there like the passenger side has.-Daniel
1 plug is for the power and ground for the unit.
1 plug is for all of the inputs that you need, VSS, RPM, TPS.
1 plug is for outputs to the solenoids in the transmission.
It's just a lot of wires and all of the needed ones are in a auto car...
The grenade pin method is tried and true. A tensioner won't get any tighter, only looser and yeah I think your over thinking it. Good to go with the grenade pin if it's a new tensioner.
The main deal with stock springs are that they're old. The older and more used they are, the less they will return to stock size. At higher RPMs, they can exhibit valve float, where they do not return to their original shape fast enough to avoid...
Those are good cams but they do have alot of lift. 11mm of lift and 274* of duration. They will give you room to "grow". Very close to Kelford 272s, which I LOVE, but more suited to 500hp+ cars.
BC springs and Ti retainers (to save weight) is more than enough for "272s", assuming that is what you meant. Every manufacturer has a different interpretation of 272, there's a thread or two on here comparing various cams.
Stock springs are probably pretty tired by now. You could end up with valve float at higher rpm
There's a number of cams that don't require replacement springs, like the 264s, but why not replace them with fresh, new ones that can take the ramp...
Kelford 264s or 272s
Auto, use 264s, 5 speed, use a 272.
Now, my son ran BC280s with stock springs and that car ran very well.
My cams do use bigger springs but I think you could fudge and use the 264s with stock springs.
Here you can find a nice...
That is not a bad price Jason. I think it's reasonable.
My best buddy has his air compressor in its own room because of noise but this is another good reason why!
Gaaaaaaawwwdd damn....:oops:Reminds me of my days at Discount Tire when one of the newbies didnt know what a tire bubble was, but found out after a free aerial trip across the shop and then another trip in the ambulance.
