For those who have replaced the seal in their cyclone manifold: when you put it back together and re-installed the little throttle plate screws did you peen the back side to keep them from backing out? If so, how? I can't see any easy way to do it. Did you just use loctite? Thanks.

Locktite them. If you try to peen them, you'll end up bending the throttle shaft.

I use a center punch to peen them.
How do you support the other side while peening them? With a throttle body its easy enough to support the head of the screw with a small socket or something on the workbench while hitting the threaded end of the screw and therefore no chance of damaging the shaft. I don't see any good way of supporting one side of the screw on the cyclone while peening the other end because of the curved runner. I'm concerned about bending the shaft like Marty said, but also concerned that loctite alone might not be enough.

I won't say I'm an expert at ANYTHING, LOL, but if locktite is holding my converter bolts from loosening up and my crank sprocket up front, if it were mine, I'd use the glue and let it set up for a few days. It doesn't see that much heat, but I'd use Orange Jell Locktite, if not Red. Orange you can break free without heat but heat makes it soft quick and easy, if you have to take it apart ever again.
