As you can see those locks fall into holes on the pin so you have to lift them up out of the hole before you can slide the pin back. Sometimes it helps to push the pin/wire into the connector before you try lifting the lock.
Solder vs. crimp connections moved to its own thread; please continue that discussion there. If anyone can answer the original question, please post here.
The diagram shows the connector as viewed from the backside or from the harness side, and the latching mechanism oriented at the top.Pin 1 is green with yellow.
Pin 2 is black with green. So from the front face as you have pictured, green with...
Yes. The 2g 7 bolt motors do not use a brace on their pickup tubes and I cut my brace's off of my 6 bolt pickups, since I run ARP studs usually. A 2g pickup will even work if you didn't have the proper 6 bolt pickup.
Yep, it’s a mounting point for a support off the original oil pickup screen tube.Below is a section view of the 6-bolt engine from the technical information manual, you can see the tube has an extra leg for support going to that bolt.As an...
That small bolt part thats on the main cap is threaded for the oil pickup tube bracket. The oil pickup tube uses 2 bolts to attatch to the oil pump and that bolt thats on the main cap for a small bracket off the side of the oil pick up tube.
don't bother removing axles from hub. You can do as marty has suggested or if you want a little more room I remove the bolts holding the control arm to the subframe. Hang the assembly from the springs with a coat hanger. You can move the hub all...
You have an odd combination of issues. Engine runs, produces error code. Regardless of how well it runs, if there was no signal, I don't think it would run at all, or it would only run on 2 cyl.So, logic tends to indicate the wires are...
We are here to help. I think the majority of us think they don’t know what they are talking about or there is a big miscommunication on the actual issue.
I have the (2) white wires attached to the post “above” (as-viewed, when mounted) the 2-pin connector on my 90A Galant alternator. From the top:From underneath:And I actually had shorting issues trying to attach it elsewhere. Blew through...
I can confirm E5T01871 is non-turbo.The extra turbo MAF I have on-hand actually shows E5T02071. So I’m less certain about the E5T02871 that you have. It does appear to have all the bits representative of a turbo MAF.I pulled part...
In the first Ant Man film, Paul Rudd’s character drilled holes and poured in liquid nitrogen to break into the safe holding the original Pym suit. Opposite end of the heat spectrum. :thumb:Only joking.Sort of.
I mean, you could. But I meant the drilling in and of itself will help get heat down the length of the bolt. The thought on attacking the brass is to get better access to the bolt heads to take the cutoff wheel to them, hopefully enough...
